Facebook.com is a serious addiction. Really. But I really enjoy this one thing, especially for its fun Catholic content. You can make your own "flair", which is kind of like making your own bumper stickers.
Hee hee hee.

Enjoy!

Checkin' it out! I see Bob the Tomato there . . . I got a whole bunch of Veggie Tales after getting sick of the kids knowing about Santa more than God or Jesus Christ, and now Iliana loves Bob the 'mato.
ReplyDeleteI'm still trying to get my nerve together about putting my politics in plain sight - I don't agree 100% with ANYONE I know. The downside of being almost moderate, overall, is that EVERYONE thinks I'm wrong in some important way :-) At the same time, I love reasonable discussion and want to influence the world with my opinions (and have people influence me, in turn - but I don't want to be criticized! just informed).
That's quite a tall order, there, lil' missy!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, so many people believe in jumping down your throat instead of having a chat. On life or death issues, I can see why, but on others, what the heck?
I think you'd like my friend Rebecca. Her flair is great! That's where I got the pic of Palin's daughter Piper smoothing Trigg's hair. That was sooo cute.
LOL . . . fortunately, I am doing a good job of collecting good friends, I think.
ReplyDeleteLately, I've been working through the eye-opener of figuring out more of where conservatives come from, over the past couple of years. I was raised staunchly Democrat, and told that Republicans were rich people who didn't want to pay taxes. It's a very strange experience . . . like I'm seeing the world from two sides, and they are both right. It's especially interesting when it comes to government assistance, since my family and I received so much assistance, and so many of us are now in a much healthier, normal place as we raise our own children. Yet I also realize that people may be very bitter about the money they were forced to pay to get me where I am in life, and maybe some of them even needed that money just as badly as I did - but deserved the money more because they actually worked for it. Both sides are right in some key ways.
BTW, I just went and grabbed a Flair of Piper for myself. I always think that one is so cute when I look at your board!
